I've been working on a bunch of designs for bracelets to bead, and as I intend to make them to sell eventually, I was wondering if some Cauldronites would mind giving me their approximate wrist circumference? I apparently have a rather small wrist, and I want to make sure I have a wide enough range of sizes that everyone could find something that fit. Thanks in advance!

I usually make beaded bracelets in the 7.5" - 8" range., including the clasp.  That seems to fit most people, although I'm always happy to make them longer or shorter to fit specific wrists.  Anklets are usually about 10".

That's one of the reasons I wanted to ask around- anything bigger than 6.5" falls right off of me. Smiley I expect most of my pieces will be in that range, but I'd like to be able to accommodate smaller and larger wrists in advance, since bead-weaving takes some time.

Hah. Count me among the tiny-wristed: my wrist circumference is just about 6".  Tongue

My wrist measures 6.5" if I pull the tape pretty close; the bracelets I like to wear measure 7" long, clasp included.

My wrists are apparently pretty thick; commercially made cuffs almost never fit me. Aster's 7.5-8" sounds about right to me.

I can't say I'm average... My left wrist is 7" and my right is 7.25".

Dang!  That means the bracelet I sent with your beads is too big.   Sad

I sent all the rose quartz to you, but I still have some of the moonstone.  I could make a smaller bracelet out of that, or you can remake the one I sent.

Sorry!

I'm also one of the 6" wrist brigade, I'm afraid!

It's okay! I deal with it all the time, so I'm used to making adjustments. I'm pretty sure I can restring the one you made me. Smiley

Me either- it's so frustrating! It's one of the reasons I decided to start making my own. Smiley

Ooh, I forgot to mention that is with the tape close around my wrist. I have no idea if I would be able to get a 6" bracelet over my bony hands and knuckles.

I have that problem too, although mine is the opposite. My wrist measures 8 so I need them larger than most.

Thanks for the measurements, everyone! Smiley I think I'm going to do from 6.5 through 9; that should hopefully cover everyone.

Are you making these as gifts or to sell or...?
