Title: Exploring the Scripturesque: Jewish Texts and Their Christian Contexts. Supplements to the Journal for the Study of Judaism, 137
Author(s): Robert A. Kraft
Publisher: Leiden/Boston:  Brill
Publication Date: 2009
ISBN:
ISBN-13: 9789004170100
Current Price and More Info from Amazon

From the Bryn Mawr Classic Review:
In this collection of previously published essays, Kraft presents a series of his most significant contributions to the methodological problems and possibilities of investigating Jewish texts that were transmitted, preserved, read and sometimes interpolated by Christian tradents. Part One examines ‘general context and methodology’ in five essays; the remainder of the book is devoted to specific studies of some texts from the so-called ‘pseudepigrapha’ (though Kraft wants to dispute the usefulness of the term), as well as particular problems in the Dialogue of Timothy and Aquila, Pliny the Elder, Philo of Alexandria and Flavius Josephus.

This one is a bear. I'll just have to post a direct URL to it since there's no 10 digit ISBN number available, and apparently our form doesn't like the 13 digit one provided. Sad

Amazon's API uses 10 character ASINs/ISBNs only. If there isn't a 10 character ASIN/ISBN, it is almost impossible to generate a link via the API. I finally managed to find something that words for this one.

I always just grabbed the 10 digit number in the original URL, and it worked for me?

These reviews don't always list the ten digit ISBN and this book's Amazon page mistakenly lists the 13 digit one for the ten digit one.

What I do is take the url:
http://www.amazon.com/Exploring-Scripturesque-Supplements-Journal-Judaism/dp/9004170103/

and take the ten numbers that are after the dp portion of the url, and put them at the end of the TC Amazon link:
http://www.ecauldron.net/cncbook.php?asin=9004170103

That way you never have to worry if they've listed the right numbers on the page.

In rare cases, that doesn't work. I don't know why, but I've had it fail several times in the last year alone.
