Is anyone here following Michael J Dangler's "The ADF Dedicant Program Through The Wheel of the Year"  If so, what week are you on?  Do you like his approach or would you suggest something different?  If no, what approach are you using to meet the requirements?

It seems we're all on different wavelengths/stages of progression regarding the program so a 'study buddy' might not work out but what about discussing and critiquing essay etc? Maybe not here on T:C but via blogs or pms? Just a thought.

I think it could work.  We all don't have to be on the same week to give insights or comments on each other.  Would you care to throw out some more ideas on the subject in this thread or by sending a PM to either Collinsky or myself?

Thanks. Smiley

Well for instance I've got a DP blog via blogspot (not the same blog in my sig) that I use as a sort of journal / essay organization type deal. Even something as simple as, hey folks I wrote a nine virtues essay <link> thoughts? Could be valuable. Thoughts?

I think that is a great idea. Would you like to be the first to post?

Sure, I actually restarted the blog so to speak so as of now all I have up is basically an introduction and explanation of why I chose the orgs I did. But I s'pose it's a good way to get the ball rolling so to speak. The blog is asking for a log in.  Is there a way to view it without an account?

I was hoping you could start a thread with the title (or some kind of title) of the work you want critiqued, what kind of feedback would you like, etc.

How to do a "purty" one (I assume you mean the blue hyper link? Smiley )

Click on the insert a URL button (or just hand type it), change the left bracket into an equals sign, then enter the URL.  After the URL, place a left bracket in between the url and the words you want in blue.  Then make sure the last thing you see is [/url].  Preview your post to make sure.  An example:

Asch's blog

If you quote/reply to this message you can see how I did it and if you are still confused, perhaps someone with more computer skills than I have can make a visual description.

Oooh I see precisely what you mean.

Yeah it's not the best jumping off point. (I think I've adjusted the settings to allow anyone to view now, I'd forgotten that blogspot defaults to only allowing other signed in blog users to view, dunno why)

Does anyone else want to kick things off with one of their own essays etc?

Just updated my blog on the latest bit of my DP journey. I finished my "catch-up" week and will be re-oathing myself Monday or Tuesday, after I'm back from Jersey. Then I'll be learning all about Nature Awareness, which is super exciting. Grin

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but just to reiterate: I'm away at a con this weekend and don't have all the internet access I'd like. I'm sorry for being quiet suddenly, and I promise that as soon as I get back and settled I'll be going through this SIG's archives. I'm so happy to have a Neo-Druidry SIG at TC and I want to help make it successful as possible. Smiley
