Okay, so... I am still new to Wicca but I think that the Goddess Artemis has been calling out to me for a couple of years. I have had an intrest in mythology since I was a kid. Ever since I read about the Greek gods and goddesses anytime they are mentioned the first name that pops into my head is Artemis. I started writing a story a while ago and the main character's name was Artemis (nicknamed Missy, but still...) one of her favorite things t do was run through the woods at night under the moon. She pops into my head a lot even when I am not thinking about mythology or religion, I can be thinking about my cat or something and her name will pop into my head. Does anyone think she is trying to contact me? Is there a way for me to try to communicate with her to see if I am right? Does anyone here work with her, and could possibly tell me what she is like?

She may be trying to contact you. Or, at least, make Her presence known to you. I would suggest reading all that you can find about Her. You may want to give meditation a try to communicate with Her, too. The important thing to do, though, is to take a breath and not rush things. A good page about Her is Theoi: Artmeis.
