Interesting interview Vale thanks for sharing it.

I especially liked the part where Ronald Hutton talks about the history of Witchcraft in europe or of witchcraft accusations anyway. Ive been talking to people here about the same thing

That is the view Im into after reading some books on the subject but its counterbalanced by the detailed witch confessions in Europe. They dont happen anywhere else in the same way afaik...

That is exactly what I am saying. The past can be changed or rejected by us instead of acting as a tyranny, and historians are here to inform people better about it and not to suggest what anybody then does with it.
