Recently I have been drawn to the idea of crafting a staff. I've read about various woods and their properties and have narrowed my choice to two. Oak and walnut. Oak, from what I understand, has long been associated with Perun and the other Thunder Gods. I found many websites that mentioned an association with walnut and the various Thunder Gods as well. I have meditated on both and am equally drawn to both energies. While meditating further an idea came to me to treat an oak staff with walnut oil. My question is: would it infuse the energies of both woods into the staff?

Probably, but oak energies will likely predominate.
