So, I hit 'show unread topics' and was redirected to a red warning page informing me that TC had been listed as an 'attack site'. Screenshot here: http://screencast.com/t/0mcfJNGw

When I clicked the 'why was this page blocked', I got this message from Google, basically saying there is no reason to be concerned: http://screencast.com/t/1GSCyBim68ji

If I click 'ignore this warning', I go to the TC page, but it's all screwy: http://screencast.com/t/vyKROe4kGfk

Then if I try to click a link to the forum say, from there, it takes me back to the red warning page.

If, on the TC page, I click the 'this isn't an attack site' in the red top toolbar, it takes me here: http://www.stopbadware.org/firefox?hl=en-US&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ecauldron.net%2Fforum%2Findex.php

These problems are all in Firefox, and make the site unvisitable. Internet Explorer is still working.

I was just coming to report the same thing.  Also firefox, also latest version.  IX still works.  Chrome hates me, so I can't check that.

I closed the browser and reopened it, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't a momentary thing - though when I ask it to tell me what the problem IS it comes back clean.  I'm baffled.

I showed it to my husband, he said someone who 'didn't like what they say on the forum' likely reported it.

Lots of people are visiting this site with Firefox and not having this issue. Perhaps you have an extension or something turned on that the rest of us don't? Also, some virus checkers have software that checkers with sites that supposed check this stuff. I turn it all off as they are too none-specific. They block entire sites instead of just pages on those sites that they believe have problems. Sometimes they can't even tell web sites on the same IP apart and in some cases I've seen them unable to tell sites with different IPs in the same datacenter apart. To show you how inaccurate this type of stuff can be, our server is located in The Planet's Dallas center yet most places on the Net that try to track such things list TC as located in The Planet's Houston center. ::rolling eyes::

Also, some places take reports from anyone on the Net (and act without manually investigating them). We've had to gag a few people over the last couple of days. One of who make a point of saying he/she was an asshole.

Translation: Google says we are clean so there is not a problem for me to solve.

Hrmm...I am not sure. I haven't updated or changed anything in a couple weeks. And I had the browser open to TC all morning, without navigating away or closing the browser. I just went to update the unread topics and it went to that warning page.

Me too, just updated the whole f***ing thing.
Now Chrome also gives me the warning, but I can override it.

'Key, you can stop the warning from messing up the page, if you go in the 'Settings' and remove the check box for locking down attacking pages.

Hey! I can do the same with Firefox. Drop down Firefox arrow, options, options, security, uncheck 'block reported attack sites'.

These problems are all in Firefox, and make the site unvisitable.

I got it too just now, FF5.0. I've never ever seen this warning before! I also disabled the block altogether because I think something blocking access to a site without even being able to list why is too rigorous.
(Some comment on this issue: http://support.mozilla.com/nl/questions/765945#answer-119067  and it is not shedding much light on how accurate the process of reporting and evaluating really is.)

I've seen some comments in German boards/blogs that the warning is not too reliable anyway.

It really bothers me that this can effectively shut down access to entire sites without much due process. (I mean - on my own computer I have access to the security settings. On a public computer I do not...)
