I also spin! I spun up a one-day skein on my spindle for Beltane.

Its not a lot, but it was roving given to me by someone there, so it had to be done.

Pretty!  *pets yarn*  I want to be that good someday LOL.  My Great Aunt who has spun for years says I am doing great, but everyone elses yarn looks better than mine (might be just one of those craft things where everyone elses looks better than yours!)  But since I just got my wheel last month I am being fairly easy on myself.  The funny thing is that the wheel  helped my spindle spinning click a bit better.  IDK why, but it did!

If I learn any interesting plying techniques, I'll be sure to PM them to you. I currently like plying the yarn back on itself (2ply) and navajo plying (or chain plying). Sorry for the explanations of those, but just in case someone is curious and doesnt spin, they now have multiple search terms. The one in the photo was chain plied.
