I was just wondering what everyone's experiences with Thor are? I strongly feel he is my patron but I'm not sure what to do from here.

He's my patron, too. I'm currently trying to establish a routine of devotions for the Gods and Goddesses I honour. So I'm trying to light a candle to Him and leave offerings (beer and the like) on Thursdays, but since I've got a lecture very early on Thursday mornings, it hasn't quite worked out the way I planned it to. You could also try and leave offerings out for Him to get more connected to Him.
And have you read the myths about Him?

I also pray to Him before I go to bed each night, and before I have to face situations that are likely to include conflicts of some sort.

I feel Thor more like an older brother than a fathery figure, so I'd say contact to Him is a bit less formal than with other Gods. And I also feel Him much stronger in a thunderstorm.

If you're good with crafting/working with clay, you might want to try and make a Thor's Hammer out of clay; I find that when I'm working on a creative project, I tend to fall into some kind of trance, so it might be easier to contact Him then, especially when you're crafting something that is connected to Him.

You might also want to check out some music. There are a lot of songs out there that are about Thor, f'ex:
Amon Amarth -Twilight of the Thunder God
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnT4VEaOALc

Manowar's Fight until we Die mentions Him in the chorus:

And - this is totally UPG - I found Him to enjoy this song a lot:
Skyclad - Another Drinking Song

Hope this will get you started!

Thor feels more like a brother to me too. Not that I have much experience with him. I really only feel any sort of connection when I'm playing hockey. And a little bit during thunderstorms, but especially when I'm playing hockey during a thunderstorm. Yeah, that about covers my experience with Thor.

But I love "Twilight of the Thunder God." One of my favorite Amon Amarth songs. "Asator" is another good one by them, but I think I like that one mostly because when I saw them live, the mosh pit went insane for that song. Got punched in the face pretty good.
