Oh, introductions, you're so awkward.

I'm Amethyst Jade, because of my affinity for stones in general and the colors purple and green in specific.

I've been in and out of neopaganism, largely Wicca, since 1997.  I'm terrible at practicing solitary, and I haven't had a group I felt truly comfortable with since college.  I've also come to realize that I'm not really called to Wicca, even though that's what I usually end up practicing with.  I'm more interested in Asatru now, but I haven't found a group to test it out with, so to speak.

I'm married to a staunchly agnostic man - he doesn't know what's out there, and he doesn't care enough to find out.  He's very supportive of my quest for religious meaning, but it still gets a bit lonely when he's not interested in pursuing it.

No kids, no pets.  I don't even want to be responsible for a houseplant, to be honest.

I love my houseplant, it doesn't need much attention, and it smells like lemon and keeps mosquitoes away.
