So, I'm thinking of trying to write more regularly on my Kemetic blog.  My aim is to make short but comprehensive articles on common features of KR religion.  I was wondering if anyone had ideas on what concepts of Kemetic religion or KR they'd like to have synthesized into an understandable and thorough article?  I'm thinking of submitting these as articles once the new Cauldron is up and running as well.  I was doing a series on the 42 purifications and how we can relate these to our daily lives that I had to take a break from due to life stuff, but I would like to start that up again as well.

I'm also interested to see who else has blogs and what they're using them for.  What do you do when you run out of material?

I'm always interested in reading how others practice. I find it interesting to see how others view the gods of AE, and how they bring their practice into their daily life. I think I find that the most interesting, though it's debatable about how academic it is. Beyond that, I can't really think of any sort of topics for you, which is a big pile of suck on my part lol.

I keep a blog myself. I store my Kemetic and Shinto stuff there. Along with dreams, visions, and any other sort of relevant spiritual stuff. I've been in a bit of a dry spell myself- since I haven't been researching and learning like I should be. Generally, when I need ideas, I go read stuff, and see what I can come up with. Immerse myself in the forums, or go find someone to chat with, and see if I can't get my brain cranking from that. Of course, the angle of my blog, and the angle of yours is probably a bit different in that my goal isn't purely scholarly. It's more like a place to store my notes about what I'm doing, etc.

So maybe that helped... possibly? lol.

Even though it's aimed more at commercial blogging, there are a number of helpful articles here.

One thing I'd like to see is a "Why KR?" series of blogs. What things do you find meaningful, beautiful, etc.

I think once you really start writing, ideas just start falling on you from out of the sky. Fiction certainly seems to work that way.

When all else fails, I take photos of food and flowers.  Roll Eyes Here's mine, for the sake of amusement.
