Hi, all.

Like a boomerang - I come back.

Once upon a time, I was known as Haruka and participated a lot here on the forums (Well, actually, MOST of that was in  the distant days of Delphi forums.)

Then a lot started happening in my life, and my online activity was reduced to stuff that took me away from real life (hooray, RPGs and MMORPGS) because I was feeling a little burnt out.  I remember everyone here fondly,  and kept meaning to come back.  But life's been a whirlwhind.  And though I haven't stepped off the whirlwhind yet, I've found some time to slow down and reflect.  I've been pulled in deeper directions, and felt like it was time to come back.

I felt a name change was probably appropriate.  I don't feel like a "distant king" anyway.  Just an aging nerd who finally figured out what she wanted to do.  Maybe.

I hope some people remember me.  If not - I look forward to getting to know you all again.

Dude!  Of COURSE we do!  It's good to see you again.  Smiley

(I'm a little light on forum presence right now due to the Attack Of The Offline Life, but I'm glad to see you around when I *am* here anyway...)

Haruka! It is wonderful to see you back on our board again. Of course, it'll take me a while to think of you as "Lemnem" instead of "Haruka."  And you are here just in time for our next "move" from this SMF board to a brand new vBulletin one. Smiley

We still have people here from our Delphi forums days and I'll bet most of them are as happy to see you back as Lyric and I are.

Welcome back to TC!

No crackmonkeys, just ch-ch-ch-changes.

But it's good to see so many familiar faces (or, rather, screen names.)

Silly me... I meant to update y'all with what I'm doing..  I'm still living the rural life, only now I've got chickens.  Chickens are fun, and I keep thinking it might be nice to go all out and get goats (I am only *half* kidding.)

But probably most importantly, I've gone back to school to get a Bachelor's degree in Education. I'm almost finished, too.  I made *that* decision after working in the grocery business for a few years (ask me about how cashiering ruined my feet and legs! And sanity! Tongue)

For the past... well, almost 2 years... I've been taking care of my grandparents.  My grandfather passed away recently, and my grandmother shows signs of following him soon.  It's been stressful - I went from one stress to another.  What was I thinking?  Ah well.  It's been a bit bitter-sweet.
