The folks from the Office of Light and Letters have created yet another writing challenge, a summer time version of NaNoWriMo called CampNaNoWriMo.  Essentially, it's the same as the November challenge (i.e., write a 50K novel in a month), but there are two summer sessions: July and August.

I'm not sure I'm up for either of the summer challenges.  However, I'm sure there are some Cauldronites foolish batshit ambitious enough for this one!

When I started Nanowrimo in 2002 (back when I was just a munchkin!) I didn't give any thought to Nano's November date. Fast forward to the first year of college.... yeah, not so much.

I may not do a novel this summer, but I've got a nonfiction book on Brighid and depression that I've been kicking around for quite some time, and I've needed some motivation to really get started. Smiley
