Hi there. Smiley
I don't know if this is in the right place or not... I apologize if it isn't.

I was wondering if, in Wicca, someone wanted to worship the Sun as the God & the Moon as Goddess, would that be okay? I don't mean literally the sun and moon, more like their spirits - they'd kind of be the symbols for the God and Goddess. I can't really explain it, sorry.
So does anyone here worship the Sun and Moon like that? Is it okay?

Isn't that what's normally done in Wicca, anyway? The sun is the symbol of the dying and reborn God, whose phases through the life cycle are marked by the Wheel of the Year. The sun is born at the winter solstice, matures, peaks, declines and is born again, as a symbol of the divine life of the God. The moon is a Goddess symbol because it is connected to women's menstrual cycles. The full moon is the time of celestial ovulation, while the dark moon is the period of menstruation. The Goddess is the queen of heaven, symbolized by the moon, ruler of psychic powers and the realms unseen.
