My best friend's little sister is a drug addict.  They were both raised by a mother who stressed the importance of being thin and perfect so that they could find a rich man to take care of them.  Although thier mom didn't cook, so fast food and frozen food was all the nutrition they received.

My best friend has lived her whole life being talked down to because she's overweight.  But she's a loving person and she holds on to the relationship with her mother as best she can.  She actually drinks a lot and I worry about her, but she's got a network of friends where she lives now that are there for her, so my need isn't for her.

It's for her sister.  Her sister has been out of rehab for Methanphetamines for a while now and I was told last week that she's fallen off the wagon again.  Nothing surprising there, she doesnt want to quit.  She wants to be skinny.  However, today I've learned that she's gone missing.  Nobody knows where she is.  She usually goes out for a couple of days at a time since she's an adult and she has a boyfriend, but apparently she's been missing for longer than a couple of days because my best friend wouldn't even make note of being gone for just a couple of days.  Everyone's worried sick about her.

Can I get some aid from you all in whatever way you see fit so that Marisa will find her way home safely?

I'm going to try to work on some energy for her mother myself.  I'd like to physically slap the woman, but I'll just have to settle for finding something energy-wise I can work up without putting any more negativity in the house.

And just as an update, she came home last night.  She had been gone for a week with no communications.  She's ok, but she was very obviously on a week long bender.
