I thought it might be useful for the newer witches/magicians if the more experienced folk in here contributed to a list of magical mistakes they've made (come on, admit it, we've all had our fingers burned).

When I was young, I loved going to my grandparents' house. I remember wishing I could live there. Well, after about five years I got my wish and it was awful. I also remember really disliking my elementary school and wishing that I wasn't there. Same thing, I went from bad to worse. These two situations were perfect examples of be careful what you wish for  Wink.
