I believe it's very important to do some form of divinastion before a ritual to see if it's teally necessary.

does anyone else use this safeguard?

I don't to see if it'ss *necessary*, since it's not like just doing a spell, but I see ritual as a communion, celebration, many things. It depends if I feel the need for one or not and the question usually only arises if there are circumstances, for example my health, timing in accordance to events that have me in a different mind state, etc.

I think it can be a nice safeguard, but I usually only do a divination if i'm unsure when working magic/spellwork with a tarot layout I have for spellcasting.

Bright Blessings.

~Dont believe in anything simply because you have heard it, simply because it's spoken and rumored by many, simply because it is found written in your religious books, in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders, in traditions becuase they have been handed down for many generations. But after careful observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conductive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.~*~Buddha~*~
