Welcome to the Cauldron!

Before I can really be of any useful help - what are you looking for, exactly?  What do you know of it?

There are a ton of variables involved.  Maybe you should start with our Pagan Primer: http://www.ecauldron.com/newpagan.php

Then I definitely suggest you check out the Pagan Primer.  It's very hard to answer such general questions.

And .. why would you want to convert to a religion you don't know anything at all about?  I'm confused.

Welcome to The Cauldron!  Almost any religion can sound very nice on a TV show, especially if it is new or different.  I'd strongly advise some study and reading before you make any decision.

Our Pagan Primer page has a list of books for people interested in Wicca to consider in a sidebar on the right.

This is more of a where not to start, but I noticed in your profile that you are 13 and I would warn you up front to avoid a lot of the Wiccan/witchcraft materials aimed at teens...particularly Silver Ravenwolf.  She advocates some pretty unethical behavior for young practitioners in addition to having dodgy scholarship.

I agree with HS, how do you know you would like to be Wiccan if you don't have information on what it means to be Wiccan? Perhaps you mean you'd like to know more about it or those things have peaked your interest, lol. Along with the suggestions people have gave, I'd say Scott Cunningham is a good author to start with as well, his books Wicca and Living Wicca in particular I enjoyed, even as a non-wiccan,lol. Just please be very careful what you are reading and studying, alot following a new path eat up all they read and get their hands on, I did myself. It is good to have that kind of gusto towards it as long as it's the right material. I studied Wicca for a long time before realizing some of it wasn't factual/ethical/etc that I had been reading, and before I realized there is more to the Craft than one path specifically. You have to go with your heart and find what is right for you.

Well Met, Welcome to the Cauldron and the best of luck on your journey, where ever it leads you:)

Bright Blessings.

The Tyra Banks show didn't portray Wicca correctly.  It showed satanist Witches, "dark witches" and three "white wiccans" which included Fiona Horne -eye roll-.
Durring every clip it had "spooky" music playing.
It was kind of insulting.

I too would have been interested to see it. Mainly out of morbid curiosity.

I usually like Tyra, but this was just plain ignorant.  Floating twisted faces, spooky music, half naked women....She even appologized to the audience for showing stuff on Wicca.  Like, it's some kind of offence.
