You'll have to wait about five more years. Covens won't initiate you until you're 18 and some might not until 21.

That's a personal belief, not one every wiccan has.
Yes, to be in a coven most have to be 18.
But, coven doesn't always equal wicca.
I know plenty of people older than 18 who aren't in a coven and identify as wiccans.
It's all a personal choice on whether or not you want to work with someone.
Unless, of course, you want to be initiated into BTW, which I believe is 18.  I'm pretty sure someone can elaborate or correct me.

I assumed she was interested in traditional Wicca, not Neo-Wicca.

Lol, I have Dish DVR and I did a search for Tyra Banks, and that gave me episode summaries.

Yeah, I just did a search on my Dish, it says 9 tomorrow.
I've only seen the two on tyra, of the episode.
Which is a two minute summary.  Even that was offensive.

I don't see her talking about specific traditions.
The show featured Wiccans that weren't BTW.

When one says Wicca I assume traditional, initiatory mystery religion. NeoWicca is a bit different.

Yes, I know it's different.
But, I know for a fact, Fiona Horne isn't a BTW.
So, it's assumed she meant what you call "NeoWicca".  (Note:I don't use that phrase very often, nor do I call non-BT Wicca "Neowicca", because I find it insulting.  Not going into the who Mcwicca thing, it's just a personal belief of mine.)

Right, it's something we need not argue about now ;P

Fiona Horne is fluff, to be quite frank. She's up there with RavenWolf and Conway.

Of course she is.  I think I stated that myself in worst books.  Of course, there is stuff a lot worse than fiona.  It's kind of why I was angry that she is viewed as some representative for Wicca.  She apparently went to Harvard on behalf of "Modern Witchcraft and Neo-Paganism" to speak with them.

Although fiona is nowhere near as bad as some... my opinion, nothing more.

I do believe we were posting at the same time lol

I'm reminded today that those who make the most noise... get the most publicity - that, and never let the truth stand in the way of a good story...... I need to go make brownies. that'll make me feel better. Anyone want some?

True, she isn't.  But the thing is, the authors that are worse, don't produce 8 books, like she has, plus a "kit".
Well, other than Ms.Faery Wicca.  And Mama Ravenwolf.

She screams the loudest from what I hear.  And usually, what she screams is "Me Me Me!!!!"
Pretty much obvious by the "witch sitcom" she is supposedly producing with the infamous WB.
I would love some brownies.
I made cupcakes myself.

I watched the episode with the goddess ritual ending up being a massage orgy that seemed very similar to Soft Porn.
I just shook my head.

I'm glad I missed that one.

Between them they sure produce enough fluff to make a very nice comforter...

Brownies all round when they're done Smiley
