...articles on a variety of paganism-related topics.

Do you have any specific entries you'd like to suggest?

Good question, you can't include links in the text can you? Because that will limit the relevance of some entries (which are link-dependent in giving needed context). If you can't include links, maybe I could take a couple and re-format them to make more sense in a text-only environment. Perhaps a write-up of the Salem Psychic Wars, that certainly has some "meat" to it (story-wise). Or if that isn't what you are looking for, I did some capsule book reviews recently.

The (many) links per article are the problem. Cauldron and Candle is a text only newsletter with a hard line length limit of 65 characters. Including one or two short URLs at the end of the article works. Long URLs are impossible and including lots of URLs within the article just does not work. Another problem is that most of your articles seem to be "timely" which is hard to do when the submission deadline is 2-3 weeks before the issue comes out. Sad

I'm not saying that nothing in your blog could be used, just that you will have to pick and submit items that work with the weird limitations of our newsletter.

Karen, that actually might be a very interesting article.

I'll see if I can beat something together to turn in on Saturday, then. If not, I'll get it in for next issue.

Hi, everyone.

I'm not sure which essay we're up to (3rd, 4th?).  Did I send the final Word copy of it to you already, or do I need to do that  now?  I have a vague memory of e-mailing a couple of them to Randall a while back.

The last tarot essay I sent Randall for the newsletter was "Reading for Another Person", which I *think* will appear in this month's (October's) newsletter, when he gets it out.

So, please send me more in finalized Word format, and I'll pass them on to him.

Thanks!

I hope to have time to work on it this weekend. "Reading for Another Person" Appeared in the September newsletter:

Yes, you're right.  Sorry -- I was looking at the wrong issue.

Do you have an essay from Marilyn for October?  I had thought I sent you several at a time, but clearly I've gotten confused somewhere along the way.

I don't see one. You sent me Jenett's "Quote Deck Divination" which may be why you think you sent another.

Okay.  I checked the archives and we've got Intro, Choosing a Spread, and Reading for Another.  I'll send you Reversals and Accuracy.  They're not dependent on each other so it doesn't matter what order they go in.

MI,

As soon as the story contest voting poll expires tomorrow night, I'll get the winning story (or at least a blurb and a link to the rest of it) over to ya.  I just bumped the poll thread so....

As you know, the story made it into the October issue.  Thanks, Randall!

TODAY is the deadline for submission for November.  But I'm willing to be a bit flexible.  if anyone has anything they'd like to submit for the Novemeber newsletter, please email me asap at moonivy53@gmail.com, if even just to tell me something is coming.

Thanks!
