I will most likely be attending my first Shamanic ceremony at the beginning of September. Would you be interested in a piece about my experiences as a first-time participant?

It could make an interesting article, so yes -- we'd be interested.

Ok!  I'll write it up after I go to the ceremony.

Thanks, Ghost Queen.  That's a really interesting idea.

Please email it to me when you have it finished:  moonivy53@gmail.com

You can either put the article in the body of the email or attach it as a Word document.

I'm looking forward to reading it.

I finally got around to sending you part 1 of my seeker notes articles. Y'all think I should post that up to the website as an article too? I should be ready to do the second article sometime this week.

Got it.  I'll take a look at it over the next few days.

Thanks!

Thank you!

Sorry it has taken me awhile to get around to this.  It's also probably the main reason I've been away, because I felt badly about not having done it sooner.  I am releasing an album soon, and because of that, I have had a lot on my mind.  However, I still want to do this, and I will be attending another ceremony next weekend, but this will be of a very different nature.

That's okay.  The newsletter has been semi-suspended while Lyric and I are having to share a PC.

When the newsletter opens back up, I've actually wrote a couple of things I'd like to submit if the subjects haven't been done to death yet - an article on 'How to Avoid Psychic Services Fraud', & 'Vodou 101' type article

Both of those sound interesting -- you could add them to the Articles section anytime.

How do I do that? I was looking in the Article Library but could not figure out how to submit one.

Go to the Articles area of the board. Click on the "My Articles" button near the top of this page. There should be an "add article" link at the bottom of the list of article you have submitted.

I'm going to add - because I only figured this one out myself a couple of months ago Shocked - that this is the "Articles" link in the bar at the top and bottom of the page, not "Article Library" in the sidebar (which is where it sounds like you were looking, Perzephone).

(I haven't posted a call for articles lately, so it's time to remind everyone that we're always looking for newsletter pieces.)

As a member of the Cauldron Forum, you might know that the Cauldron also produces a monthly e-newsletter, Cauldron and Candle.  (Click here for subscription information.)

Newsletters include updates about the forum, links to especially interesting threads, book and movie reviews, poetry, and articles on a variety of paganism-related topics.

The editorial staff of Cauldron and Candle invites you to submit articles for publication in the newsletter.

Article drafts should be submitted to me for review.  If it is an appropriate piece, I will work with the author to edit as necessary for grammar, typos, and clarification.  If the article meets the newsletter's standards, I will refer it to Randall for final approval.

PLEASE NOTE:  The newsletter is published in pure text with a maximum line width of 65 characters.  This is especially relevant to poetry and other things that need to have a fixed "look" as opposed to normal flowing paragraphs.

If you have an idea for an article, already have something written, or have any questions, please email me at moonivy53@gmail.com.
