So who's participating this year?

I am! Pick me! Smiley

Someone took my name of Rin, so I'm still figuring out a username to use.

And a solid plot line. I have like.. 6 I could choose from, but none I can really choose as of yet. But then again, thats the point of NaNoWriMo, right? To finally DO instead of procrastinate?

So who's participating this year?

Some part of me wants to...  The rest of me thinks that part of me is absolutely freaking insane, between trying to work around the new baby and the fact that I have zero planning done at this point and very little idea what I'd do.  (Tried going into it with little to no planning last time and "seeing where the story led me".  It didn't turn out so well.)

Welcome to my world.  Cheesy  I have so much on my plate right now that I'm barely able to string together a coherent sentence by the end of the day.  How I'm going to write an average of more than 1600 words a day for a full month is anyone's guess.

Why does the idea of anything completely insane almost tempt me?

I think you may have hit on part of why I keep coming back to the idea of maybe trying it again...  Grin

I feel ya. When I signed up I had the problem of being plotless. Now my cup runneth overeth with ploteths. I think I've narrowed it down to about 2, though, as one is set in the world where I set most of my stories, and the outline is already done as part of the history, so worldbuilding is complete on that one; the other is post-apocalyptic and set in Hawaii, so worldbuilding is partially done on that one and the idea tickles my fancy. We'll see.

It seems to have tempted me. I just signed up. Never done it before.

I've always had trouble with fiction, so I'm going to try to get over my "I can't write fiction" mental block by doing this.  I just have to think of a plot and a setting and some characters.  *blood pressure goes through roof, panic sets in*  I suppose I could roll dice.  Tongue Wink

Mine is starcr, if anyone really feels the need...  I'm still not 100% sure I'm participating, though.  If I do, I'll probably do something really weird like just grab a writing prompt each day and use it to continue the story rather than starting with an actual clue of what story to write, since I have no clue at the moment.

Heh.  So did I.  I immediately rushed off to change my sig after reading that line, knowing it would be just perfect for use here.  Smiley
