Hit "New Topic" gave it a name, typed the message, etc, then hit "Additional Options" at the bottom.  Clicked on "Browse", found the picture file on my 'puter, double-checked the filename and clicked "Preview."  Looked okay.  Clicked "Post."  I waited for it to say it was done and went back to cruising the Forum.

Attachments don't work well for some people. i suggest starting the thread with a plain text message and trying the attachment in another message.  Better than attachments, IMHO are services like tinypic.com. Upload the picture there, then use the code they give you for message boards than starts with an "[IMG" Bbcode in your message.

I forgot to mention that the preview part should show you if anything is wrong with your BBCode for the image you are trying to show.  If the image does not appear, you have a problem with either the BBCode or the web server you stored the image on.

::sheepish grin::  ...Or the file's too large.  I figured out the problem with the staff pictures.  Still not sure on the dog pics.
