Anyone besides me use Chaos magic for personal traffic control?  I drive a fair amount, in town, and I've only had to stop at three traffic lights this month.  Not unusual.  Can't really explain how I do it, but it works... often enough that Alan (who calls himself The Driver) lets me drive most of the time.

Just thought I'd ask. Smiley

Both my sister and my DH have 'left turn magic'.  It doesn't matter how busy the street they are turning onto is, a space will open up for them in the middle of rush hour traffic.  For me, most of the time it is faster to turn right and go around a block, but for them....

They also seem to be able to find parking spots right where they need them, no matter how busy an area is.  They just pull up to where they want to go and some-one obligingly leaves just as they get there.

They both tell me it is intentional, just a matter of 'proper arrangement'.

That's how the light gets in

Sounds about right. Smiley  We tend to thank "Lady Asphalta" for her help and guidance.  Cheesy
My mate's husband actually sacrificing coffee to her at intersections sometimes.  It seems to work, but only if it's the "good stuff."

He can't figure out why She's nicer to me when I don't even drink coffee.  I told him I rode a bicycle a =LOT= as a child and young adult... lots of blood sacrifices to the pavement over the years. Smiley

When I'm having a lot of trouble getting where I want to go, making a left turn, etc., I talk to the road I'm on, or want to be on.  I find most roads enjoy a bit of attention and will help you out if you are respectful.

Hella Jeff -

I have removed your avatar picture, as you have been told twice it does not meet our guidelines and have not fixed it yourself.  Please make sure whatever avatar you pick matches our rules before putting a new one in.  Thank you.
