I can hazard a guess that it might have been Brid/Brigit, since it's She who's called upon in the ritual. Though, Whoever it was, They certainly weren't feeling all "happy-shiny-light" at that moment!

People who don't believe She can be fierce don't know Her very well. Grin The forge isn't a place for the weak, after all.
