Have heard a bit about this space from my son, via Juni; had some questions, figured I'd check in..........

It looks like I'll find lots of reading material here, which always works for me. I'm not particularly Pagan, but my interests lie more in learning about ritual, ceremony, history, and magik to an extent.

Actually wanted to research doing a circle of protection - I'm a bit of an intuitive practitioner of whatever it is I do; self taught and still learning the names of the things I "just did", before I learned that they HAD names. Anyway, I know the concept, but I'm interested in how others phrase the request, if there's a prefered paper color, etc. Will have to try to figure out just where to post my queries, but til then, thanks for checking this note out.

Welcome to TC.

I think there are a couple of threads going on now about protections and shielding, but if you don't find anything in them you can use (they may be more specific than you are thinking about)  feel free to start one.

I would be quite interested in where you are at with it yourself, because I don't use paper at all.  I love reading about techniques that are new to me.

Thanks for the welcome....... I haven't had a chance to go thru the threads you mention, but I should be sleeping, so it will have to wait - darn, sleep always gets in the way of doing good stuff! LOL!

I'll discuss my method there, too, so as not to take up excess space in this forum, but I learned it from a friend who uses sort of older rituals, from perhaps the 1960's and 'handed down' witch practices.

Anyway, I'll try to write that up some time soon.

Welcome to TC. I think the protection threads that have been mentioned are in the Magic and the Occult 101 board.

Many thanks to all for the warm welcome - will be back in a few days to do my 'research' and perhaps some writing.

Thanks again,
