Please tell me what happens, moment by moment, when a Dragon attacks.

WH

MM,
Thanks star.

War horse,

In the dreams The Dragons/Dinasaurs will invade the village then everyone is running then we hide & I'm always protecting someone younger then me. then one will sniff us out & I use a spear to fight it off while trying to stay under cover.

One dream they just walk in the village & ignore us & walk around communicating with themselves about how to attack us & I seem to be the only one who notices them & I feel fear & run hide til one comes & sniffs me out & then the spear appears & I start jabbing at it while it trys to get its nose in to where I'm at.

This is the main parts, some are similar but some are alittle different but that one scene always sticks out to me after I wake up.

Sounds like it is time to maybe do a little dragon meditation and communication. Sometimes if you can talk to the monsters, they stop being monsters. Often they are guardians or gatekeepers, and have something to show or say, once you satisfy them that you are not a complete idiot. This is my exp., anyway.

Are you protecting someone younger than you, or a younger you?

Well, in my experience, family has a habit of perpetually treating you as a child when you have long grown up.  Then you react in such a way that perpetuates it.  It is a learned behavior pattern.  Kind of like going to a high school reunion.  Even if you are an accomplished neurosurgeon who is well respected and well liked by your peers NOW, when you go there, you are still that little nerd that no one pays any attention to, and is still the ostracized kid in school thing.   They never see you for what you have become, just what you used to be.   Is there any of that particular pattern involved?

I just wondered that because of the question WH posed btw, if it is a younger you, and the fact you said it is your immediate family that is the issue.  People will take things from family members they wouldnt dream of taking from anyone else on the planet.

That's a great truth there. I realized that when I was a teenager and  was trying so hard to be a friend to my sister who would have none of it. One day I asked myself  "If she wasn't my sister would I want her for a friend?" My answer was No Way! (Actually, more like no &@# way) Smiley  I was much happier after I stopped trying to win her friendship.

MM,
actually there is alot of that going on. Its been that way my whole life(39years). I'M youngest of four so I was the baby child. & recently in the past 7 years after i had a nervous breakdown witch i recovered alot from but the effect is that my immediate family treat me somewhat like a child. Mmmmm.........
I think youre on the right track there. I need to grow up again & stop letting them treatment as such. I need to get out of my shell I been living in too.

More deep thinking.

You know, I have a bit of the same problem with my parents. I am the youngest but only of two children. My parents babied me when I was a teenager, on part I’m grateful and on part I’m pissed at them for it. I spent a good portion of my life not learning how to deal with the world. Then I got serious in my religious studies and last month sort of went “Huh, enough of this” and got a life. I started going out to pagan events, actively sought out my friends to strengthen my ties, and started to look for ways to establish myself in the world. I think my mother is still going “what the hell?” I can’t wait for her to get a clue and realize my next goal is to buy my own car and then move out by next summer.

I suggest you do make a stand to your family if you feel that is part of the problem. Planting your feet and doing things your way feels very good.
