What is the point of having government regulation when the government regulators are in bed with the industries they regulate? The FCC keeps proposing this stuff in the hope that eventually the general public will get weary of fighting them on it and just shut up.

What is the point of having government regulation when the government regulators are in bed with the industries they regulate?

So that the industries can get tax credits and government subsidies?
