Dude, you're reading Swinburne!  he's one of my favorites!  Cheesy

If you enjoy Swinburne, you would probably like this class on the whole--Victorian prose and poetry.  (The prose doesn't focus on any of the great novels, but primarily philosophy of criticism...lots of Matthew Arnold.)  My final paper for the class will be focusing on the male gaze, using D.G. Rossetti's "Jenny" to contrast with Christina Rossetti's "An Artist's Studio".
