(I find this an absolute fucking riot. I won't ever darken the door of another Circuit City ever again after that stupid move they made last spring...it doesn't matter to me whether they rehire them or not. Any place that terminally stupid doesn't deserve my money.)

I hadn't heard about this. Whether my head was in the sand while on the news or it wasn't occuring here. *Canada* I know Circuit City bought out Radio Shack (old Canadian electronics chain)a few years ago. I went in a few times for Parts and found that's not what kind of store it was anymore. More gizmo's and gadgets now. *could be just up here, or just in my area, shugs*

I wonder if they pulled that stunt up here with their experinced staff.

I doubt many of their more experienced employees will come back unless they were offered more money (and benefits) than they were making when they were fired. I suspect CC will discover this the hard way. Start over at the bottom but come back to save the company probably would not play well.
