It was internet spam (unapproved advertising). We just delete the unauthorized ad text, change the subject line to use the word SPAM at least once, ban the offender, and then LyricFox posts a spam recipe to the thread. This upsets some spammers greatly -- which adds to the fun.

Wow, I love this place more and more each day!

Oh yes! I forget who it is now but one of our members actually likes the stuff!

Around here, spammers get immediately banned, the original post edited out and we go runnin for Lyric so she can post up one of her ever-lovin SPAM recipes.

I hate when I miss the SPAM, (I have to find a way to read it, before it is sent to the SPAM hall of hero's), and I do love the recipes.

I love Spam, although personally I think Treet is better.

mmmmm reminds me of my bachelor days.

Cant bring myself to really try it.... not like alone or on a sandwich but I made split pea and SPAM soup once when we were bad off in finance dept. Food Bank gave us a can and didnt want to waste it,  now the cans that I got from my Grandma in law, ended up getting donated last year for the school food drive.  So while my Split pea and spam soup was okay, I did like real ham better!  Sad thing is that I probably would like SPAM, if I could bring myself to try it..... I'll try most anything once, wont do liver or rabbit but tried gator once.....  But I LOVE most processed meats so.....  IDK I am just strange LOL

Spam makes me glad I stopped eating meat.  If I'm ever tempted to eat meat, I just think of spam.

Does it really? Have they actually had the nerve to respond to that? Man, I get surprised every day.

We've actually had a few spammers return and complain about our treatment of their messages over the years. Once in a while we forget to ban the account, although I think one even created a new account to complain.  Roll Eyes

How can someone complain about their spam being deleted?

Some people get confused about the difference between censorship and reasonable requests not to use other people's hard work (and money) to try and sell them stuff they don't want.

Really? That takes some brass balls to do that. And is it a bit of oxymoron for they to make an account to complain about their previous account that was banned?  ::)What a bunch a idiots!
