I love maple color with darker floors to hide the mess.

One of  the things I love best about my kitchen is the black Pergo planking. love love love. Even though I am a terrible housekeeper, my kitchen at least *looks reasonably non-filthy.

Dawn with bleach has been a gods send in this house.

The new dawn with the air freshener in the bottom is pure EVIL.  The soap works and all, but the little air freshener beads, even with the sticker only half off created a month of allergy hell.  I finally took plumbing seal tape and double wrapped it to try to make the agony stop, but by then it was too late.

This time I got the dawn with the 'sooper something or other' in original scent.  Grin

I just can't see the point. But then, I'm one who keeps my dish soap in the cabinet beneath the sink. Good to know that it's nasty, though. Wink

Again...my sister. I hate dish soap, in general, and only get the most anonymous, non-itchy, dry hands-making environmentally friendly, non-toxic stuff I can afford. Trader Joe's Next-To-Godliness, usually. Dawn is only good for making bubble liquid at school.

I'm with you there.  Before I start the dishes, I rub in a dab of skin lotion (whatever brand, haven't found an eco-friendly version that I care for).  The hot water opens my pores and the lotion oozes in.

Dawn has its place, but I use Seventh Generation for most stuff.

I use Seventh Generation or Dishmate.  I just don't like the way Dawn (or Joy, or most of the others) smells.

Oh, yeah, I react poorly to chemical smells.  Watch me in a mall sometime. Lips sealed

Dawn just doesn't bother me, or I don't use enough of it.

Watch me gag and choke when downwind of a lady who's "marinated" herself in perfume.

My mom does the same. It stinks bad (boiled dishsoap anybody?) but it works so good!

My old housemate used to do the same with my stainless steel pots. All fine and good until she forgot she put one on there one day and boiled it dry (well, to a bubbly, thick, foul-smelling burned gunk anyway). Thankfully I rescued it before the pot was ruined (they are good pots). The pot is now a bit discoloured though... Grrrr....

Other than that I love my stainless steel - teflon is too fragile for me usually...  Grin
