They apparently know nothing about the Goddess of Willendorf...

Well, neither do we.  We have no idea of the Willendorf figure is a goddess or a primitive Barbie or porn.  Of course, such objects do seem to indicate that the Venus of Willendorf was appealing to someone...

"The terms “Witch Hunt” and “Witch Trial” [...] Abrahamic religions, primarily Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.

Uh, ya sure, bad bad Abrahamic religions, not sure how this explains the very tribal African's who define "witch" as some one who works bad or wicked magic, generally female but these tribal places are generally very misogynistic, evil falls to those that they hate. Also, the words "Witch Hunt" and "Witch Trial" are used as unfair, because the historic trials over suspected witches have generally been unfair, throw them into a river bound and naked, if they float hurray there's to be a killing tonight. If they don't, dang there went an innocent person. The only similarity between the "Witch Trials" and Witch of today is the name, Witch in the Middle Ages was a worker of black magic, and pacts with Satan, truly it was more of a superstition thing, again Middle Ages, highly misogynistic, that has been most cultures.

ETA: I didn't notice that it was a quote from the article, sorry, ignore this if you wish, it's almost a reflex by now to rant against how it's the Abrahamic's Religion's fault for how the poor witch is discriminated against. Again, sorry my mistake.

This page has got my somewhere between confused, pissed off, and laughing my ass off: Goddess Plan Diet Introduction. Shocked

I KNOW... And I won't be putting much store by their herb information. Alfalfa/lucurne is toxic to horses anyone...?

Quote
alfalfa safe for humans, toxic to horses

Quote
*snip* Too much fresh alfalfa may lead to colic in horses *snip*

Wow. Rocket science that. Too much of a lot of grains/pasture feeds can lead to colic in horses. That doesn't mean it is toxic to them...

And apparently it can be problematic for humans too, if you read the section at the bottom.

Quote
Too much alfalfa may cause Heinz-body anemia in dogs, cats, and herbivores. The seeds of alfalfa contain the toxic amino acid L-canavanine, which may cause blood disorders in humans and aminals

Yeah, it's safe, no worries...

What is the worst pagan site you've found on the web?

You mean besides the Daughters of Frya?  I dunno...I keep a special little locked room in my heart for bad free websites created by teenagers.  Google "the burning times" +geocities (you can substitute angelfire there), and all the finest spinning, blinking, unicorniest sites ever will pop up.  Oh, here's one:

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Cyprus/7836/Burning.html

The gasoline-inspired fireball is especially nice...

It annoys me that they didn't bother to mention that foxglove is toxic and can be fatal to human beings if ingested.  This is basic herbalism 101 stuff... know what plants are toxic and label them carefully as such when sharing plant lore. Whoever is behind this website is sadly lacking in knowledge and common sense.

The insult to a former member on the home page is a particularly nice touch there, I thought... Cheesy

That's one site I certainly get a chuckle out of... "You must master astral projection prior to casting a spell"...

It's also amusing that there's a section on the 'blood sacrifice' page where he references a movie. Yes, a movie:
Quote
Similar to the american Indians who would do piercing to achieve OBE's. Reference the movie "A man called Horse".

Wait, what the...?
Quote
Now in the ancient days the ultimate sacrifice was to be that of a virgin young boy. Even today human sacrifice goes on, but only in the most secretive places. There are some Devil worshipers (not Satanists) that practice the art. I myself have seen on video their practice of cutting out the internal organs of a human and then rolling around in the blood and drinking it which then led to sexual orgies. I can only add my opinion to say that they are sick for they usually use kidnapped children and runaways. This is something that the Police do not talk about because they are afraid of it. Most children that disappear usually end up this way and not in the hands of a molester. If the Law Enforcement weren't so chicken shit they would take care of the problem and also inform the public

Yeeesh... Can he be for real?

What struck me most about the home page (aside from the whole "my eyes, they hurt") was the linklist near the bottom - they only have half a dozen links to sites unrelated to them, but TC is one of them.

Weird as heck; you'd think they'd either a) detest us as FMPPHs, b) not even know we exist, or c) have learned something here.

I admit that I do sometimes go to that site whenever I need a good laugh.  Did you read the article on time travel?

Christ, how did I forget about our dear friend Puzuzu? Shocked He's one of my favorites for "weird shit and misinformation".

Don't anybody forget Crystalinks.

And here's a REALLY good one: Immortals Playground

**WARNING** Both of these are severely brain melting. Especially the second one. Better have a few barrels of salt ready when reading these. Grin
