A resident of Findlay, IL snapped these photos.  (Snot far from where I grew up.)

A long way from the mountains, for a mountain lion.

Significant to me because I once tracked a mountain lion in southern Illinois.

Nice kitty!

...hehe...

Actually... not so much.

It's certainly a set of photos showing a mountain lion on someone's patio, but it appears that this set of photos has been circulating attributed to a wide range of locations, but they were actually taken in Wyoming.

AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGG!

I should have KNOWN my mother would send me this crap!

Cheesy

But I did track one.  The Forest Service eventually re-located her, as I understand it.  Others saw her before me.

Honest.

Oh, I believe you!  Those particular photos just weren't taken in IL, was all.  Doesn't mean there aren't mountain lions.  Smiley

Significant to me because I once tracked a mountain lion in southern Illinois.

We had one down in one of the local parks in the Twin Cities a year or two ago.

Trick was - it wasn't wild. It'd been someone's pet, who'd gotten dumped, most likely, when it got too big. (In the meantime, until they could tranq it, there were a few terrified dogs in that park.)
