I like that.  Did you write it, or does it come from another source?

It's the standard Kemetic prayer for the recently deceased.  (One finds inscriptions of the first three lines or so on a number of tombs, for the ascended dead.)

I'm sorry about the loss of your friend, but happy that he made his final journey from the comfort of his home and family's care.

Thank you all for your thoughts.  Eugene died early Thursday morning, at home with his family.

I'm so sorry to hear that.  I hope he finds happiness in his next life.

That is a good way to leave this life.

It's the standard Kemetic prayer for the recently deceased.  (One finds inscriptions of the first three lines or so on a number of tombs, for the ascended dead.)
I thought it might be traditional Kemetic - but I thought it could also be a modern construction, and once I thought that, I realized it wouldn't be out of place in context of any of your paths.  (I mean, it's not from the Principia, but what Discordian can't get behind the idea of a thousand of beer?  Smiley Metaphoric beer at any rate, where it represents recreational intoxicant of choice.)  So, I asked.

It's a fine sentiment; I've saved it to my "quotables" file, along with the source info you provided.
