Like last year, Daylight Saving time starts 3 weeks earlier that it used to in most of the US

This means that if you live in a part of the US that hasn't opted out of DST, you need to set your clocks AHEAD one hour tonight before you go to bed as DST takes effect at 2am Sunday (which suddenly becomes 3 am) March 9, 2008.

Shoot! I had completely forgotten about that! Doesn't seem like it's time to do that already.  Sad

*sighs*  Just when it was finally beginning to be light on my way to work, too.  So much for that.  Back to days where I don't see sunlight until 3:30pm because I get to work in the dark and I work in the middle of a big freaking concrete building in an office with no windows.  Blah.  At least they have the decency to do this on a weekend when I can nap to compensate for the lost hour of sleep, or just sleep in (if the baby lets me).  I'd hate to have to lose an hour in the middle of a weeknight.

*wanders off to change clocks grumbling about electing a new governor...  again*

*sighs*  Just when it was finally beginning to be light on my way to work, too.  So much for that.

I'm the other way about it. Although I hate getting used to getting up in the morning for a couple weeks, being an outdoor person, I prefer having the extended daylight at the end of the day when I get home from work. More time to work outside in the yard or garden, etc. I'm so not a morning person anyway, so from the time I get up until the time I get to work, I'm pretty much on zombie autopilot anyway, It can be dark or light and I won't notice Tongue

What you said.  Evenings are prime cobbing/gardening time for me.  I look forward to DST.  Of course, I also don't go to work until noon, so no problem with that whole going to work in the dark thing.

I just flew in after 11 days in Houston. My poor brain is all splodey. I don't handle the time change to begin with - but going from Eastern to Central back to Eastern with the time change yesterday?? :screams: I'm so tired I don't know which end is up right now. (but i got some awesome pictures of the beach! Grin Grin Grin)
