I just found out that one of my heroes, Nader Khalili, passed away on March 5th.  He was an amazing man who built amazing structures out of earth and fire.  His generous spirit will live on in the houses he created and inspired.

I just found out that one of my heroes, Nader Khalili, passed away on March 5th.  He was an amazing man who built amazing structures out of earth and fire.  His generous spirit will live on in the houses he created and inspired.

I've never heard of him until now, but his work is beautiful and really organic.  It's unfortunate that he passed.  Undecided
