Apologies if this isn't where it should be - I'm not quite sure where, if anywhere, it 'fits'.

I think I met Sulis last night.  Now I'm asking myself did that really happen?  Part of me isn't sure whether She really was who she said she was, or something else pretending to be in order to trick me into something... or whether that's just being ridiculously paranoid.  So, does this tally with anyone else's experiences of meeting a deity? Or does it sound fishy?  Or should I just stop obsessing and see what happens next?  Smiley

A little bit of relevant background: I have a tiny bit of healing ability.  I can 'pull' pain out of a person's body, and ground it.  It doesn't always work, and only seems to work on certain people.  I have some undiagnosed arthritis-type business going on at the moment... and no, I can't heal myself.  Smiley

Here's how it happened: I was trying to get to sleep with various aches and pains, I wasn't even meditating, when I felt a presence, very very powerful.  She told me she was Sulis, and that she could heal me, if I healed her.  Her arms were burnt - she said it was from the hot water of the spring and that while she could heal others, she couldn't heal her own burns.  So I 'pulled' the pain out of her and grounded it.  While I was doing that, I felt a sort of pressure against my right temple, that progressed through my body as though something were moving through it, and out the left side.  This took a few minutes and I was worried, because there was a very odd sense of having something not-me inside me.

When She'd finished, the pain was mostly gone.  She told me to have a warm shower, and that 'whatever isn't cured now, soon will be.'   And today I feel the best I have for quite a while.
