If you want to participate, please post in here. Everyone, regardless of religion, is welcome to participate.  If you can't participate at 8pm your time, feel free to pick a different hour, Chavi would not have cared.

I'll have a candle burning 24 hours for her.  I miss her wit, her sharp insight, and her bravery.

**nods** We can't burn one that long, but I've planned to burn one for a good four to five hours.

I hope she's the helpful ancestral ghost she wanted to become.

Amen.

As long as its Chavi, she'll be helpful.

It'll be in my bathtub in a couple inches of water...with the door closed so the dog can't bother it.  Wink

If you want to participate, please post in here.

I'm in -- 8:00 p.m., Eastern time (USA).

I continue to be awestruck at the beauty of the Cauldron community.

I'm in.  Eastern Daylight Time.

And likely more than just one hour.  Chavi was special.

Tuesday, April 1, 2008, marks the second anniversary of Chavi's passing. TC has not been the same he time would be marked in your time zone so it would be like a 24-hour honoring of a wonderful person.

If you want to participate, please post in here. Everyone, regardless of religion, is welcome to participate.  If you can't participate at 8pm your time, feel free to pick a different hour, Chavi would not have cared.  Smiley

I will say I'm going to try to participate.  I say "try" because unfortunately stuff like this (something I'm doing at home in the evening involving no one else in the house) tends to slip my mind lately.  Sad  (Which is one reason why staff chats have not been happening lately...  Actually it's THE reason.)  April 1 I will also probably get home not long before 8pm, which won't help.  But I'll mark it on my calendar and leave myself reminders and hopefully I'll remember.  8pm, Eastern Daylight Time.

Or use the schedule function on your cell phone to set a reminder.  That's the only thing that keeps me on track a lot of the time.

I miss Chavi.  Very much.  She was someone truly special.

I will be burning a candle tomorrow night for the entire time I am home.  I do not know when that will be, but it will be for several hours.

I don't have a cell phone. Wink (well, I have a tracfone but it sucks and is never turned on, and I never have it with me. In fact, I don't even know that it HAS a schedule function.)

Damn that sucks. Sad

I just don't use mine for anything but emergency phone calls, so it's not an effective reminder device for me.  And also it's pretty much the cheapest, most stripped-down Tracfone I could get and I'm not sure it has a schedule function either.  Wink

I'll just leave myself a bunch of notes in various locations, and chances are good I'll probably remember.  If not, I'll still be thinking of Chavi during the day when I'm at work and can't have a candle going.
