personally I don,t care who knows I,m a witch My husband is also one and I made a broom by hand he found the handle and shaped it some then I gathered the broom part using stuff that looked like straw from a field ,then went home and made it , its great for a first time but we have it hanging over our door way in to our kitchen from the front door (2 room apt.) then we found a antic hearth broom that resides over our bed , my whole house tells who and what we are .My attitude is if you don't like it don't look at it.
I personally don't care what others think on those terms either. All of my friends know who-what I am when it comes to my religious belief and knowledge. No one comes into my home unless I trust them, so if they don't know that knowledge, then I likely don't trust them.
More mainstream topic however: To the blatantly obvious symbols. Beautifully enough, Old Time Pottery actually has a Pentacle with 5 glass candle holders and made of metal. Price: 5.00 - yes, 5.00. I intend on using a grape vine circle I crafted (kudos of my mother) and with the inspiration and idea from my sister and "brother in law" (of the God faith) decorate it up in much a way I can still function with the circle (great for meditation) or as decor, and placing said pentacle into circle for pentagram!
(I know, I likely flip-flopped the stars around, I always do. Please correct me if I have)
I also intend on making my window covers with fabric of course, but with bamboo roll-up shades I have at Menards (work there.) and obtain some copper pipe/fittings to apply to the top of it. From there, I'm going to drop beads, glass, stones, rocks, etc.etc. from it. Little pricey, I know. But I think the idea and effect will be quiet proper!
