I've recently created a Yahoo forum for pagans who identify with conservative thought (whether Democrat, Republican, or Third Party) to discuss and debate today's political, social, and religious issues. If you're interested, please consider joining!

What type(s) of conservative thought?  Traditional conservative (small government with limited powers, low taxes, strong support for civil liberties and civil rights), Neo-Conservative (low taxes, low regulation of business, very powerful Presidential government, little respect for civil liberties, imperial foreign policy), Social Conservative (the government should regulate private lives to ensure everyone follows moral standards)...?  (And this isn't even touching on the European varieties of conservative which can be much different from any of the American varieties.)

It's an American conservative group, and encompasses various types of American conservative thought.

I think he wants you to be a bit more specific about what type of conservative thought you were talking about when you say conservative, because what he mentioned are all representative of differing american conservative thought.

I wanted to clarify as we have a large number of members from outside the USA.

That too.  BUt I would like to know which part of conservative the op is talking about too, since they seem sometimes completely contradictory.  Same thing if liberal had been mentioned.

We're general conservative. However, I imagine the majority of the participants on the forum will be more Traditional Conservatives.
