Hi! I'm spring cleaning my books shelves and have 5 books I haven't read yet, but am wondering if they are worth keeping and reading. I would like to hear what your opinions are on them.

1) Astral Travel by Gavin and Yvonne Frost
2) Magic of the Celtic Gods and Goddesses by Carl McColman and Kathryn Hinds
3) Embracing Your Subconscious by Jenny Davidow
4) Crystal Enchantments by D. J. Conway
5) Rune Power by Kenneth Meadows

4) Crystal Enchantments by D. J. Conway

I haven't actually read this one specifically, but I tend to mistrust Conway in general.  The last time I tried to read a Conway book (Lord of Light and Shadow), I wound up tempted to throw it across the room every other page or so and gave it away to a good home lest it infect any unsuspecting newbie who might stumble across it without knowing any better.

I haven't read either of theses books but the authors -- especially Conway -- are on my "not good" list.

Yeah, I've read a couple of Conways books before, but was willing to give her a chance if this book was worth it.  Sometimes someone who is normally full of pooh can actually know something about a certain subject.  I know someone like that.  Can't take anything she says without a grain of salt, but the woman knew her gemstones.

I wasn't sure if those were the Frosts I was thinking of or not. But figured someone here would know for certain. The other books were giving to me by friends who thought I might find them interesting. (cept for the Celtic one, I bought that one.)

Gavin and Yvonne are the always controversial people of The Church and School of Wicca.
