The only no-kill animal shelter for this area isn't that far away from me. Because I'm still waiting on my work permit and all that good stuff to come through, I've decided I'm going to see if they would like me to volunteer. That is, as soon as I get a car sorted out. *sigh* Should be soon now.

I recently adopted a dog that would have been killed (he was twice returned). Yeah, I'm broke as a joke, but watching that a-hole destroy my underthings brings me great joy. It's a shame that things have gotten this bad. I've also had to switch vets to make it.  Then I realize that many of our pets have better healthcare than most American children, and that seems just as ridiculous.

Jim Halpert:     We didn't play many video games in Scranton. Instead we'd do stuff like.. uh, Pam and I would sometimes hum the same high pitched note and try to get Dwight to make an appointment with an ear doctor. And, uh, Pam called it... Pretendinitis.
