Macrocosm and microcosm.  Lovely!

(I'm also pretty fond of some images I've seen of DNA looked "down the spiral" and spiral galaxies.)

As above, so below
As without, so within.

So mote it be.

I've said all along that the Universe is one giant organism, one enormous living thing- the Is.  Creator.  The Being.  We're as cells within that organism, so it doesn't suprise me at all to see the same patterns repeated over and over throughout all that is.

Well, this reminds me that I may be onto something with the explanation of the universe as a myriad of interconnected webs... Beautiful Smiley

Quite beautiful. A fair demostration of the microcosm/macrocosm concept. That which is in the microcosm is reflected in the macrocosm.

Macrocosm and microcosm.

Or to put it another way: As above, so below.

(I'm also pretty fond of some images I've seen of DNA looked "down the spiral" and spiral galaxies.)

As am I. It's one reason why, while many use a spiral as a sacred symbol, I prefer a double spiral.

[Edited to add: D'Oh! Phoenix already mentioned "As above..."; I should have read the whole thread before replying. Sorry, folks.]

So the Hitchhiker's Guide was right... the universe is being controlled by mice!
