I don't get what you mean here. I've been involved with tabletop RPGs since 1975 (never got into the online ones as they focus too much on combat as computer programs make poor GMs for anything other than combat), but the RPGS I know of seldom have anything to do with actual Pagan religions and certainly do not demonstrate that Pagan deities are running anything, let alone running everything under the guise of mainstream religions.

It depends how you look at it.  The same way JRR Tolkien got a lot of his ideas for Lord of the Rings from the Eddas and sagas from old norse mythology, some RPG creators use that fantasy realm as a basis for some RPGs. Trolls, Giants, Tiamat, etc....  It shows that old pagan beliefs that were once practiced as religions are still alive in the human psyche.  Now sure theres a new pagan movement if you want to call it that, that also has roots in the old world mythologies and traditions but as far as running things, what I meant is that most of the world is muslim, christian, or jewish, but much of our civilization, morality, architecture, laws, symbols, and ideas show an underlying old world pagan influence that continues to this day.
