What game are you currently playing and would you recommend it to others?

Currently playing EverQuest 2 (still) and loving it (again).  Also playing Wizard101, which is great fun! And just got A Kingdom for Kiefling on the Xbox360 and having a good time with that was well.

Prime Time Adventures

That's one I've wanted to try, but never have had the chance.

Has anyone here played The Longest Journey?

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/longestjourney/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary;read-review

I saw someone comment on Siberia and it made me think of it. TLJ is a PC adventure from 2000 and probably one of my favorite games of all time. Best voice acting I've ever heard in a game, best dialogue by far, good humor and storyline. I love it.

Yes, I did!  Grin

It was very nice, but without the "helping-booklet" I hadn´t reached the end  Grin
(This scene, where she is in front of the cinema which fluorescent letters are out of order- was such a point I wanted to give up ... )

The cinema part is right at the end of the beginning of the game. Everything jumps forward from there, you should go back to it sometime. If you get really stuck like that though you could always check online for sites with tips or straight up walkthroughs(like GameFAQs.com).

It really is a great game though, you should give it another shot.

I have been playing World of Warcraft for over 2 years now. It was my social outlet in college and now I can't give it up.

I only recommended it to people with plenty of time on their hands.  I personally have played over 60 days worth of time on the game. If you have time and don't mind the monthly fee then jump on in and I may meet you online.  Smiley

Fat Princess is big (haha) in the house right now.  The hubbs was playing the MAG Beta, which is like 200 vs. 200 people war games online (the scope is HUGE).  Oh, and Disgaea for PSP.  Atlus does some awesome games.  Cheesy

Oh, and WoW of course.  Also a little free online game called Neo Steam.

Sorry about resurrecting the thread. snap.  Embarrassed

Currently replaying Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines if anyone plays this make sure you get the unofficial patch to make it compatible with 4GB RAM and Vista

I love this game and recommend it.

Myself, currently re-playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.......(XBox 360) this time with a mage character.

Just bought my son Dragon Age: Origins for his birthday. he is already addicted.

I highly recommend either for those who like a really long involved RPG.

Been watching my husband play Dragon Age the past few days.  The decision-making  process is huge!  Tons of dialog with questions that have around 5-6 answers and just...wow.  You can be all bad, all the time, walk a grey line in the decisions you make, be a total goody two shoes - and the dialog is different for each choice.

And if you choose something in the beginning of the story badly, it could very well bite you later in the game. What you choose definitely changes your future in game.

The voice acting is well done and the voice is carried through out. (The amount of stuff they had to record makes my mind boggle a little.)  Shocked  And I like the graphics too.  They've put a huge amount of work into this game and it shows.

(Don't mind the gamer girl geekiness, just can't help myself.  Oh shiny.)  Smiley
