Okay, time to put out my own thoughts I guess.   I pretty much go along with what a lot of others have been saying. I do honestly believe that nothing is carved in stone, that paths get changed. When my kids were little they had a marble ramp maker. You connected all the ramps the way you wanted and then the marble would go from point A to point B in your chosen design. But often things would happen to change the marble's course, the dogs tail would whap the marble off and it wouldn't land at point B, or sometimes one of the kids would stop the marble on purpose, or little brother would decide to kick the whole thing across the room. I always thought that was a lot like life, you plan a path at one point in time for things to go a certain way, but things change. The marble's path (future) wasn't carved in stone, just the most predicable outcome at the time the ramps were set up. There can always be unexpected circumstances to change even the most predictable outcome.

I always thought the best example of this was Scrooge and Tiny Tim. If Scrooge kept up on his current path, Tiny Tim would die. But if he changed his path Tiny Tim would live. The future is a choice. You can only see what might be, based on current paths.

Of course it seems to me that Power Balls don't make a whole lot of choices and the most probable outcome from drawing to drawing should be pretty clear as far as devination goes, so I am either a so-so psychic or getting a big fat "get off your lazy butt and make your own money" answer from the the universe. Both fairly reasonable reasons.

See, I disagree.  I think that divining the outcome would be harder because they don't make choices.

It's possible to guess the marble's final resting spot because you have a set path for it.  The power balls are completely random.

Seriously, how many of the 'professional psychics' see the cops coming in the cards, or the pendulum or whatever?

Well, it was wandering inspecters rather than cops, but when I was illegal years ago (reading on the street without a busker's permit) I 'set' a particular combination of cards and would pack up if it came up twice in a day's readings.

I doubt there were inspecters around every time I reacted, but I never did get a fine, and some of the jewelry sellers I used to set up near started to pack up when I did.

I guess if you get a fine, that's proof you aren't psychic.  Obviously, you are.  I'll go with the "these are the numbers, hope you pick out the right day' scenario

I find that I am very psychic, and very good at making impressions about people.. I listen to a person talk or watch their expressions, body movements and if you are uncomfortable even a little bit around this person; it is only common sense to not have anything to do with them; sometimes for your personal safety..

Also with lotteries I see numbers in my mind and play them, sometimes I win, other times the impressions aren't strong enough so I don't play the numbers..!
