Commentary: What would Jesus really do?

NEW YORK (CNN) -- When did it come to the point that being a Christian meant only caring about two issues, abortion and homosexuality?

Ask the nonreligious what being a Christian today means, and based on what we see and read, it's a good bet they will say that followers of Jesus Christ are preoccupied with those two points.

Ya know, I was thinking about this earlier today.  It seems that fundie Christians have become so wrapped up in their own agenda that they have forgotten the teachings of the One they claim to follow: "All right, if Moses said so, stone the woman, but let one person among you, who is completely without sin in mind or deed, throw the first stone."

Words to live by.
