What songs can you absolutely not get out of your head, and find yourself singing in spite of yourself?

The past couple weeks I've had Keane stuck in my head.  I like the song, but I hear it my head more than on the radio.

I was just pondering where the earworm thread might be.

I've had Faith & the Muse's Iago's Demise stuck in my head since Sunday.  I'd post a link, but I'll be darned if I can find any more than a sampling on Amazon and Facebook.  Tongue

Right now it's "A Little Priest" from Sweeney Todd -- specifically the Angela Lansbury version:

My last earworm, prior to "Iago's Demise",  was "Pretty Women" from the movie version, which I finally watched while I was on vacation.

What I love is that they're "sooooo cute" while their going "nom nom nom" on the giraffe.

It's hard to do predatory and cute at the same time, but they pull it off.   Cheesy

Monty Python's "Every sperm is sacred" brought on by the Pope's no condoms in Africa lecture.  It's been there for days now.....

Indeed, thank you for posting that, had forgotten about it!

I have this one stuck in my head.  It's on loop, too *growls*

The bottom line is that (a) people are never perfect, but love can be, (b) that is the one and only way that the mediocre and vile can be transformed, and (c) doing that makes it that. We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love.

Try having these two songs play in your head at the exact same time:

(warning, Misery-esque violence)

(I blame this one on those who posted on TV Trope's Nightmare Fuel page)
