Okay, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this since I'm still fairly new... but I thought I'd try it here...
Anyway, I'm personally interested in contacting or interacting with (in a more tangible way) my Spirits Guide(s) and also maybe contacting my grandmother that has passed on. I feel like she's either become a guide of sorts or just hangs around near me because I'm the only family member that has a mentality that is open enough for her to make contact with. In the past I've been a little wary of the concept of "seeing dead people" so to speak but have since had some experiences that have made me a little more open. I have only seen things so far and never communicated with anyone. Also, it hasn't or doesn't happen very often but at least I now know it's possible and not so scary.
Since I'm beginning to ramble a little and don't want to confuse anyone I think I'll leave off here and just ask for insight and maybe suggestions if anyone has any. I appreaciate any and all thoughts on the matter.

I am a little uncertain of what you are seeking, but if you are asking for methods that are good to use for contacting spirits and spirit guides, I have always been very well pleased with the shamanic journeying techniques and the use of the drum or drums therein.
I use a CD for the drumming and allow myself to slip ever so naturally into my journey. This has always been the best means for me to make contact with my spirit guides and other spirits as well. I have also used these techniques to heal fragments of my soul and bring about a sense of unity within myself.
